Children of expats can work in private sector

Children of expatriates can work in the private sector if they transfer their sponsorship to the companies employing them, according to the Ministry of Labor.
Ministry spokesman Hattab Al-Enezi said these workers must be of legal age to work in the Kingdom.
Many children of expatriates could previously not rectify their status in the country at the Passport Department.
Children of expatriates could not work before and faced fines of SR 1,000 for the first violation, SR 2,000 for a second violation and SR 3,000 for a third offense and possible deportation.
